Paris Air Show

Regarded as one of the most significant and expansive aviation exhibitions globally, the Paris Air Show is organized by a subsidiary of the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) in Paris. The exhibition garners substantial support and interest from the French government, and its most recent edition, was inaugurated by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Paris Air Show distinguishes itself with international participation from all over the world, aiming to highlight the latest developments in the aviation world.

The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), in collaboration with its strategic partners, Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and World Defense Show (WDS), participated in the 54th edition of the exhibition, held 19 – 25 June 2023. The objective of this participation was to underscore the progress witnessed in the defense industries sector along the Kingdom’s aspirational localization journey. 

Additionally, it aimed to highlight capabilities in the Kingdom’s defense industries sector, and attract investors to its sizeable investment opportunities. Coupled with the strategic partnerships it fosters across both the public and private sectors, this further enables local and international companies, and facilitates their access to the Saudi market.
